Moulinégarn wird auch als Sticktwist bezeichnet und nicht nur für das Sticken ein wunderbar geeignetes Garn.

Das Garn besteht aus 100% ägyptischer Baumwolle und ist sechsfädig. Jeder dieser 6 Fäden ist 2fach gezwirnt. Die Fäden lassen sich bei Bedarf auch teilen.

Es ist doppelt mercericiert, eine Behandlung, die Farbglanz und Weichheit des Materials bestimmt.

Einst für viele Sticktechniken verwendet, wird es jetzt für Modeschmuck oder Bastelarbeiten verwendet. Freundschaftsbänder knüpfen, Quasten für Schmuck machen, gewickelte BOHO Ketten. Durch die Farbvielfalt lassen sich wunderbare Objekte kreieren.

Das unifärbige Moulinegarn lässt sich bis 95 Grad C waschen.
