Das Gewebe ist in Gips getauchte Binde die durch das Einweichen im Wasser modellierfähig wird. Die weißen Gipsbinden sind lösungsmittelfrei und hautfreundlich. Das Modelliergewebe ist einfach und bequem zu verarbeiten. Gipsbinden in Streifen oder kleine Stücke schneiden (abhängig von der Größe des Objekts das abgeformt werden soll). Die Gipsbinden können ganz einfach mit Schere oder Cutter geschnitten werden. In lauwarmes oder kaltes Wasser kurz eintauchen und auflegen. Die Abbindezeit des Modelliergewebes ist von der Wassertemperatur abhängig. Kaltes Wasser lange Abbindezeit, warmes Wasser kurze. Beim Verarbeiten die Modelliergewebestücke überlappen, das ist für den nötigen Zusammenhalt wichtig. Nach dem Trocknen kann die Gipsbinde geschliffen, beklebt und bemalt werden. Die Trocknungszeit beträgt 20-40 Minuten.
