Die Stearinkerzen sind zu 100% aus natürlichen Produkten (das Stearin wird aus Palmöl oder aus anderen wiedernachwachsenden Natürlichen Fetten gewonnen). Die Kerzen aus Stearin sind rein weiß, haben eine harte Oberfläche und haben das typische Stearin-Kristallmuster. Die Stearinkerzen hat hervorragende Brenneigenschaften, brennt langsam ab und hat eine helle und ruhige Flamme. Die Kerzen sind auch tropf- und rußfrei. Ein Grund für die tollen Brenneigenschaften ist der höhere Schmelzpunkt der Stearinkerze (Paraffinkerzen werden bei 40°C weich und bei 55°C flüssig, Stearinkerzen hingegen erst bei 60°C weich und bei ca. 70°C flüssig). Ein weiterer Vorteil von Stearinkerzen ist, dass sich am Brennteller der Kerze nur sehr wenig flüssiges Wachs sammelt. Die Stearinkerzen werden durch ein aufwendiges Gießverfahren hergestellt. Diese Kerzen sind für Asthmatiker gut verträglich.
Tipps Kerzenpflege: Kerzen nicht zu nahe nebeneinander anzünden (ca. 10cm Abstand zwischen 2 Kerzen), Zugluft vermeiden da ansonsten die Kerzen einseitig abbrennen können. Wenn die Flamme rußt einfach den Docht mit der Schere kürzen. Die ideale Dochtlänge ist 10-15mm.
