Der violett gelbe Edelstein Ametrin ist eine seltene Edelstein-Kombination aus Amethist und Citrin welche ausschließlich in Südamerika vorkommt. Er ist eine Mineralvarietät des Quarzes und der Mineralgruppe der Oxide angehörig. Die Färbung des Ametrin streckt sich von violett-lila bis hin zu gelb. Der Edelstein ist auch unter den Namen Bolivianit, Amecitrin und Trystin bekannt. Er ist der Hauptstein der Sternzeichen Waage und Jungfrau. Der Ametrin hat eine besonders sanfte Wirkung auf die Seele, entspannt und vermittelt innere Ruhe. Körperlich wirkt er stark reinigend und harmonisierend auf die inneren Organe. Er regt den Stoffwechsel an, aktiviert das Gehirn und fördert die Regeneration der Zellen.
