Foam Clay wird auch als Wolkenschleim in vielen Foren bezeichnet und ist eine lufttrocknende Modelliermasse mit kleinen Styroporkügelchen.
Die Masse ist leicht zu verarbeiten und ideal geeignet zum Ummanteln von Gegenständen . Der Foam Clay kommt in luftdichten Gefäßen und sollte unbedingt auch so aufbewahrt werden, damit er nicht austrocknet.
Der Clay schrumpft während des Trocknungsprozesses nicht, dadurch entstehen keine Risse beim Ummanteln. Getrocknete und frische Modelliermasse kann ohne Probleme kombiniert werden, nach dem Trocknen hält alles bombenfest und man sieht keinen Unterschied des Aufmodellierten.
