Beim Filzen verbinden sich die feinen Wollfasern durch Reibung (Nassfilzen mit Wasser und Seife) oder durch spezielle Filznadeln mit Widerhaken (Trockenfilzen). Dabei verhaken sich die natürlichen Schuppen der Wollfasern dauerhaft miteinander. Bitte beachten: Wolle schrumpft beim Filzen deutlich.
