Der sechs-strahlige, rundliche Plexistern ist teilbar und besteht aus zwei Halbschalen. Der Acrylstern ist glasklar und hat eine glatte Oberfläche. Der Kunststoffstern eignet sich für den Außen- und Innenbereich da er wetterfest ist. Die Sternform ist robust, formstabil und langlebig. Beim Zusammenstecken des Kunststoffsterns auf die Rillen am Rand der Halbschalen achten (es passt immer eine Hälfte des Sterns mit einer Rille und die andere Hälfte mit zwei Rillen zusammen). An der obersten Spitze des Acrylsterns ist eine kleine Öse, die sogenannte Aufhängöse, diese dient zum problemlosen Aufhängen des Sterns. Der Plexistern kann mit den verschiedensten Basteltechniken verziert werden. Der Kunststoffstern kann auch als weihnachtliche und kreative Geschenksverpackung verwendet werden.
